RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidates will be responsible for the development of strong client relationships and provide key contributions to regional marketing and business development activities.

Candidates will also supervise direct, train and mentor junior staff in a growing office, while providing technical leadership in civil design.

In addition, candidates will manage and various water resources engineering tasks, including the preparation of technical memos, reports, construction specifications and other written documentation.

Also, responsibilities will include the preparation of design drawings using computer aided design and drafting equipment, preparation of cost estimates schedules and construction documents, and monitor construction activities in the field.

REQUIREMENTS

B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental engineering, M.S. is a plus.

8-20 years of related professional experience, registered Professional Engineer.

Knowledge of key water resources agencies and systems including California DWR, US Bureau of Reclamation, US Army Corps of Engineers, water districts and irrigators, or other related institutions.

Candidates must have experience with surveying and mapping principles, facility layout, water conveyance system design (pipelines, canals, pumping stations) and construction document production.

Excellent computer skills with technical analysis software, CAD, MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint, and other computer applications.

Good report writing and communication skills are required.
