Laurie Park

Laurie Park, CPA began her energy career as a project analyst for an independent developer of renewable energy resources. She then became a consultant to developers, helping them negotiate power contracts, structure public-private partnerships, and secure project financing. After helping the City of San Francisco restructure its power business, she was hired to manage its wholesale water and power division. This experience positioned her to become a leader in California’s water-energy initiative. In 2006, she broadened her activities to include developing programs and strategies to precipitate market transformation through accelerated adoption of sustainability. Her California Sustainability Alliance and Public Sustainability Partnership programs brought together policymakers, state agencies, local governments, industry leaders, energy utilities, water agencies, environmental advocates, and other key stakeholder groups to collaboratively develop strategies for overcoming sustainability barriers in high potential market sectors. Ms. Park leads GEI’s Sustainability Practice.
