DENVER, Colo. — GEI Consultants, Inc. a national provider of water resources, ecological and environmental engineering and scientific solutions, today announced the opening of a new office in Boulder, Colorado. The Boulder office will be led by 35 year water resources industry veteran Daniel L. Johnson, P.E. The new Boulder location allows GEI to better serve clients in the Rocky Mountain Region. As the population on Colorado’s Front Range continues to grow, many local water providers are facing difficult water storage and conveyance issues. GEI has opened a Boulder office to help water resource managers address such critical issues throughout the region. “We are very excited to announce the opening of our Boulder office,” said Dick Westmore, senior vice president and GEI board chairman. “Having a strong presence in Boulder improves our ability to deliver services to clients in Colorado and especially the high growth areas north and west of Metro Denver.” “Opening the Boulder office not only strengthens GEI’s presence in the Rocky Mountain Region but also provides many benefits for attracting high-performing employees to join the GEI Water Resources practice group and continue GEI’s strong growth in the region.” By expanding its reach in the Rocky Mountain Region, GEI will help clients to secure adequate water for the future by assisting water planners and managers with the planning, permitting, design and construction of water development projects. GEI’s ability to manage and design complex projects as well as the stakeholder processes, combined with GEI’s unique integration of engineering and ecology services, allows GEI’s solutions to be tailored to local conditions and environmental realities.
