Senior Project Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include analysis, field investigations, design, project management and business development support related to dams, levees, flood control, hydroelectric facilities, and other water resource projects. Prepare technical memos and reports, presentations, and other project related documentation. Develop construction drawings, project schedules, technical specifications and bidding documents. Prepare proposals and participate in business development efforts.

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking Civil Engineers with Geotechnical emphasis. M.S. degree in Geotechnical Engineering is a strong plus. Preferred candidates have experience in water resources engineering with strong analysis and design experience working on large civil works projects such as dams, pipelines, levees, canals, and related structures. Ability to supervise and direct junior staff. Experience with project management concepts and software. Strong written and verbal communications skills are required. Knowledge of California water institutions and systems are desirable, including the California Department of Water Resources, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, CALFED, and Corps of Engineers.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EDUCATION

M.S. degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Six to fifteen years experience, registered Professional Engineer in CA. or able to become registered within one year.
