Audits

GEI has conducted facility audits according to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES), groundwater discharge, underground storage (UST) management and a host of other state and federal environmental regulations. Having conducted environmental audits of waste vendors as part of environmental risk management programs, GEI has successfully obtained permits, prepared Spill Prevention and Countermeasure Control (SPCC) plans and developed systems to manage environmental compliance data.

Based on close consultation with our client combined with our depth of related experience, GEI develops audit plans to monitor compliance at the client facility. We work closely with our client to understand priorities, facility needs and schedule, and to develop a workable approach and implementation plan.

We have represented our clients before federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, and have obtained regulatory approvals for a wide variety of projects, including some of the most complex private and public sites. Finally, we understand the need for effective compliance and environmental management systems (EMS) programs to minimize disruptions to the primary business of our clients.
