Cost Estimating/Allocation

Cost estimation has become an integral part of many of the remediation projects GEI manages. Our experience includes the preparation of costs of remedial alternatives, establishment of client reserves relative to obligations under Financial Accounting Standards, and preparation of detailed estimates based on contract documents.

GEI has also prepared cost estimates for decontamination and demolition of electric generating units, and provided expert testimony to FERC regarding dismantling cost of electric generating stations.
