GEI has the capability and experience required to handle the specialized needs of such waterfront redevelopment projects. Our experience in working with permitting agencies brings an added dimension of strategic planning to the preparation of project documents. Company experience includes the evaluation of the safety of existing wharf and bulkhead structures and recommendations for rehabilitation of damaged structures. In addition to the design of new waterfront bulkheads and wharf structures, GEI has designed foundations for backland structures for both industrial and commercial use.
