GEI Consultants, Inc. was founded in 1970. GEI’s staff of multi-disciplined engineers and scientists delivers integrated geotechnical, water resources, environmental and ecological solutions to diverse clientele from locations throughout the United States.

Over the past 10 years, GEI has acquired leading firms that provide highly complimentary services and expand the company’s national footprint, including:

• Atlantic Environmental (acquired 1997), a leading Connecticut-based firm founded in 1985, was acquired for its strong expertise in environmental engineering and consulting.
• Bookman-Edmonston (acquired 2003), the renowned California-based Water Resources consulting firm founded in 1959, has been instrumental in many of the most important water resources projects in the Western United States over the past half century.
• Chadwick Environmental Consulting (acquired 2006), one of the nation’s leading aquatic ecology consulting firms and testing laboratories, founded in 1979 and based in Littleton, Colorado.

The firm has provided a broad range of consulting and engineering services on over 25,000 projects in 50 states and 22 countries.
