Site Investigation and Remediation Program

Consolidated Edison Company (Con Edison) selected GEI to help run its Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Site Investigation and Remediation Program. It’s being conducted under a Voluntary Cleanup Agreement between Con Edison and the New York State of Environmental Conservation.

The program includes comprehensive historical research and reporting, site prioritization for approximately 45 sites, management of remedial investigations and site remediation activities, development and maintenance of an MGP program extranet web page, and extensive community relations efforts.
