GEI has provided consultation and expert testimony in support of litigation for government agencies, industry, and insurance companies. Representative GEI litigation support experience includes: Cost Recovery - Airfield PCB Contamination Technical and expert services to recover costs for PCB clean up attributable to U.S. Air Force operations. Massachusetts Water Resources Authority Technical assistance connected to geohydrologic aspects of litigation over the contamination of water supply wells in Dedham. Massachusetts Turnpike Authority Expert hydrogeologic services regarding bedrock and ground water contamination at Service Station 6W. Research assistance in reaching a settlement with past and current operators of the Turnpike Service Stations for the operators to accept MCP liability. Hartwell Road Well Field Detailed evaluation of sources of organic contamination and high iron levels in three public water supply wells. GEI presented testimony at arbitration Municipal Water Supply in Burlington, Massachusetts Providing ongoing technical oversight and litigation support services for a PRP at a major contaminated site affecting this water supply.
