Alex Torres, P.E.

Alex Torres has more than 22 years of experience in civil engineering projects with an emphasis in project management and design of water resources engineering projects. Mr. Torres designs and manages the grading, drainage, and layout of pipelines, overflow structures, retaining walls, and interim improvements during construction.

Prior to joining GEI, Mr. Torres has performed hydrological & hydraulic analysis for the design of drainage infrastructure on transportation projects for Caltrans and the California High Speed Rail Authority and has been the drainage discipline lead managing many high-profile design-build projects across California. Mr. Torres also has experience working on civil engineering projects in Utah, Texas, and Arizona and has prepared deliverables meeting federal regulatory criteria from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, FHWA, and FEMA.
