Brian Mannino, P.E., CHMM

Project Manager

Brian is a Project Manager with GEI’s Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. His responsibilities include the development of investigation and remedial action plans, as well as supervision of due diligence investigation projects. He has served as the engineer of record for several remediation designs in New Jersey.  In addition to traditional soil excavation projects, he has participated in remediation actions using in-situ soil stabilization (ISS), in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) and augmented bioremediation. His background includes over 10 years of due diligence investigations throughout the United States and remedial investigation/remedial actions associated with former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) in New Jersey, former industrial facilities, former gasoline service stations and residential heating oil tanks.

Brian is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a NJDEP subsurface evaluator and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. Prior to joining GEI, he performed Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments at various locations across the United States. Brian’s responsibilities at GEI have included the performance of Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Remedial Action Selection Reports, Remedial Action Work Plans and Remedial Action Reports in accordance with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) regulations, the performance of Phase I Environmental Assessments in accordance with the USEPA’s All Appropriate Inquiry guidelines and the collection of soil and groundwater samples in accordance with NJDEP standards.

Brian has a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Drexel University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
