Charles Grant is a structural engineer specializing in dams and appurtenant structures, water resources facilities, earth retention systems, foundations and temporary structural shoring. His areas of expertise include stability analysis of dams and hydraulic structures, design of reinforced concrete, structural steel and timber structures, structural and geotechnical finite element analysis, seismic analysis and design, and construction management.
Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for eight years before joining GEI in 2004.
