David Watson, P.E.Senior Professional
David C. Watson has over 27 years of experience in engineering design, project management, construction management, resident engineering and construction inspection for public works capital improvement projects. His career has been focused on water resources projects, where his experience and expertise with utilities and wastewater treatment design support his construction management capabilities. Most of David’s project experience has involved water and wastewater conveyance and treatment facilities including sewers, pipelines, treatment plants, pump stations and process startup and commissioning. He has designed and performed construction management on wastewater treatment plants, small diameter and large diameter pipeline and sewer construction projects requiring trenchless construction technologies, CIPP in-situ rehabilitation and intense public outreach efforts. David’s experience includes tunneling under rivers, creeks and railroads using jack and bore methods. His projects include open cut across streams requiring full flow diversion.
David has supervised design team engineers, construction managers, resident field engineers and construction inspectors. He has developed construction inspection training programs, trained associates and professional staff, coordinated project and discipline engineers and managed sub-consultants. David also has experience performing engineering review and design cost reduction, risk reduction and claims reduction reviews, constructability and biddability reviews.
