Donald Schilling

Project Manager

Donald Schilling has over 20 years of experience as geologist in the hazardous waste remediation industry. Mr. Schilling has 10 years of experience in corporate safety program management, conducting safety training, writing and reviewing health and safety plans and emergency action plans, conducting qualitative and quantitative respirator fit testing, coordinating medical monitoring and training, near miss and accident reporting and investigations, support the development and implementation of safety awareness and accident prevention programs. With a diverse background in the environmental, occupational health and safety and emergency response, he has the capability to evaluate operations and programs for compliance, identify potential risks and design methods of control. His geologic and hydrogeologic experience includes working with soil and groundwater contamination on private, state and federal projects, including MGP and radiological site experience. Additional experience includes investigations involving borehole geophysics, ground-penetrating radar, groundwater flow, contaminant transport and biodegradation modeling. He has worked extensively in the hazardous waste industry, specifically with planning and implementation of MGP site remediation involving perimeter air monitoring, site screening investigations, remedial investigations/site investigations, feasibility studies and pre-design investigations. He has also conducted Phase II site investigations, conducted remedial site evaluations using risk-based approaches and prepared site investigation work plans, remedial investigation/ feasibility study reports, remedial action plans and remedial action completion reports.

Donald has a B.A. in Geology from the University of Minnesota.
