Paul Blindauer

Vice President/Senior Consultant

Paul Blindauer has spent his entire 38-year professional career in environmental consulting. He currently serves as a vice president/senior consultant in GEI’s Green Bay office. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Blindauer held senior management positions which included overseeing environmental, engineering, construction and drilling services in Wisconsin and Michigan. Paul’s work has included large environmental project planning and management, analytical data analysis and implementation of a wide range of environmental projects involving due diligence during property transactions, site auditing, site permitting and site restoration.

Throughout his career, Mr. Blindauer has maintained an external focus on client account management and technical project work. He maintains a lead account management role with many legal, food, heavy manufacturing, utility, pulp & paper, municipal, state and federal clients.

Mr. Blindauer’s technical and project experience includes environmental compliance reporting, environmental property transfer site assessments, environmental permitting, environmental auditing site investigations and site restoration through regulatory closure/post-closure. Major remedial investigation/feasibility study (RI/FS) projects related to USATHAMA, Superfund (CERCLA), Alternative Remedial Contract (ARCs), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) facilities and leaking underground storage tanks (LUST).

Mr. Blindauer has extensive experience working with the USEPA in Region V, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes & Energy, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, primarily related to air quality and solid waste permitting, RCRA, LUST and property transaction assessment issues. Mr. Blindauer also has experience with the fifteen other state environmental agencies.
