Scott Keating has spent his entire 31-year professional career in the environmental consulting field. He is a Vice President and currently serves as GEI’s South Region Operations Manager, as well as a senior consultant in GEI’s Atlanta, GA office. Throughout his career, Scott has maintained an external focus on client account management and technical project work. He maintains a lead account management role with utility, railroad and manufacturing clients.
Scott specializes in remedial investigations/feasibility studies, site characterization and design and implementation of corrective actions for hazardous and non-hazardous waste sites, manufactured gas plant site management, and freight railroad site management. Scott is also proficient at managing and developing site and remedial strategies for large, multi-million dollar sites for industrial clients. He has managed numerous complex remedial projects with values of between 5 and 20 million dollars. As such, he is experienced in project control methodologies, earned value analysis, as well as in leading large project teams that often involve multiple potentially responsible parties.
Scott has a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Environmental Science from East Stroudsburg University.
