Asher Peltz Named Branch Manager of GEI’s New York City Office

New York, NY – GEI Consultants Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources and ecological science and engineering firms, is pleased to announce Asher Peltz has been named Branch Manager of GEI’s New York, NY office.

Asher will lead the continued growth of GEI’s New York City office. “We are excited by Asher’s ideas and energy and know that he will be a key to our office’s success” said Joe Engels, Vice President. Asher will continue to serve clients and manage projects while managing GEI’s New York City office.

Asher has over 15 years of experience with geotechnical engineering projects. He has strong technical expertise overseeing geotechnical and structural instrumentation for large transportation and infrastructure projects, along with proven project management skills. He is a practice area leader in geotechnical and structural instrumentation for GEI, where he provides company-wide guidance, training, and support. His career has been primarily in dense, urban areas focusing on maintaining the structural integrity of new construction and adjacent structures.

We would like to thank Ben Lavon for his dedication as the Branch Manager for the past 7 years. Ben will be continuing to focus his attention on the building envelopes and structural engineering practices in New York City as the practice area leader.
