Kerri A. Bergeon, P.E.

Vice President, Senior Dam Safety Engineer

Kerri Bergeon is a senior dam safety engineer with experience in dam design, inspection, and construction oversight. She is a FERC-approved Independent Consultant and FERC-approved PFMA/L2RA Facilitator. Under the new FERC regulations, Kerri has facilitated 13 L2RAs, performed many HHAs, and supported consequence estimation development using both LifeSim and RCEM. She has participated in 17 SRQA/CAs and more than 35 legacy PFMAs. She often reviews and/or prepares CSIRs, ODSPs, EAPs, STIDs, and DSSMP/Rs.

Kerri’s experience includes the management and preparation of design packages, specifications, and design calculations. Her design experience includes hydraulic structures such as outlet works, diversion structures, spillways, stilling basins, impact structures, erosion protection, and fish passageway structures. Ms. Bergeon’s engineering expertise includes evaluating design storms based on Probable Maximum Precipitation and Floods (PMP and PMF), frequency flood analyses, and inflow design studies. Her hydraulic modeling experience includes dam breach studies, overtopping analysis, flood wave routing, incremental damage assessments, and inundation mapping. She holds a B.S and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
