Heather Whitehouse

Senior Ecologist

Heather leads ecological restoration design and implementation for GEI projects in Canada. She has 16 years of experience in natural habitat design, construction oversight and post-restorative monitoring. For both large- and small-scale projects Heather works collaboratively with the public and private sector to conceive, design, construct and monitor innovative and resilient natural heritage systems, woodland, grassland, riparian and wetland habitats. She has a Master of Science in Wetland Ecology and is a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP, Society of Ecological Restoration).
