Lauren Flanders, P.E.

Lauren Flanders is a waterfront structural engineer in GEI’s Portland, ME office. Lauren has more than a decade of experience in bridge design and working on projects for MaineDOT, MassDOT, RIDOT, CTDOT, NHDOT, and Caltrans using AASHTO, AREMA, ACI, AISC, and state-specific codes and standard details.

Lauren has extensive experience in project management, bridge inspections, and design. She also has a passion for writing and producing concise, correct, and informative reports.

Lauren lives in South Portland with a firsthand view of the ravages of climate change and is excited to work on coastal resiliency projects and contribute to her community through design.
