Lesley Gastwirth, ASP

Lesley Gastwirth is the Regional Safety Manager for the South Region.  In this role, her responsibilities include actively promoting GEI’s safety culture, and managing recommended safety programs and policies.  She also assists project managers by developing project-specific health and safety plans, managing safety training needs, conducting accident/near miss investigations, and conducting site safety audits of field operations.  Ms. Gastwirth also assists the Corporate Safety Director by managing the corporate medical monitoring/drug and alcohol programs; maintaining forms and templates; and managing the annual corporate safety training programs.

Ms. Gastwirth also has technical and administrative environmental consulting experience. She is currently the Administrative Office Manager for the Atlanta office.  Ms. Gastwirth’s experience includes managing office budgets, procurement of office needs, coordinating with internal/external property management, supervising facilities, and office space management, and reviewing and formatting technical documents.  She also assists with on boarding all new southeastern employees.  She has a degree in Environmental Science and began her career providing field support for various environmental projects including groundwater and soil investigations, remediation sites, and asbestos assessments/abatements.
