Luke J. Gervase, CLM
Project EcologistLuke Gervase is an ecologist and Certified Lake Manager (CLM) in GEI’s Huntington Station, NY office. Luke is a graduate from the SUNY College at Oneonta and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) where he got his M.S. in Lake Management and B.S. in Aquatics and Fisheries Science with a Marine Ecology minor respectively. Luke has a strong interest in invasive species, restoration, and aquatic science and has made a career out of his passion. Luke is very knowledgeable and connected in the industry, offering guidance on invasive species management issues and leading field efforts in multiple disciplines. He is well rounded when it comes to field identification of aquatic, marine, and terrestrial flora and fauna and recommending or conducting management actions. Luke’s passion and roots are in fisheries and aquatic plant management and the restoration, preservation, and enhancement of our local ecosystems.
