Michael Wheeler, P.E.

Mike Wheeler is a Senior Vice President of GEI and Manager of the Green Bay, Wisconsin office. He has expertise in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mining Engineering. He has extensive experience with mine tailings storage planning and design, including performance monitoring of tailings embankments and construction oversight projects. He has successfully led multi-million dollar projects which required integration of various engineering, environmental and construction disciplines. He also has extensive account management experience which includes several large key accounts.

Mike joined GEI during 2010 and helped establish the Midwest operations of GEI. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
