Senior Project ManagerMs. Straub is a licensed civil engineer in Maryland and has 25 years of experience in geotechnical, environmental, forensic, litigation and insurance support, karst, sustainability and construction monitoring projects. Her geotechnical projects include tunnels, pipelines, buildings with both shallow and deep foundation systems, bridges, roadways, highways, dams, nuclear power plants, transmission lines, railroads, National Parks, earth retaining systems, rock and soil slopes, problem soils, geosynthetics, and a variety of ground improvement techniques. Her environmental projects include Phase I environmental site assessments, environmental investigation, sampling, and reporting, monitoring cleanup and peer review activities. She has worked on projects across the United States and on sites around the world.
Ms. Straub maintains a strong focus on sustainability in her work. In addition to working as an Envision Sustainability Professional and Verifier, she also chaired 2 workgroups for the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure technical committee that updated the technical guidance manual for Envision Version 3.
She holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
