Rebecca Eiden

Environmental Scientist

Rebecca Eiden is a water resources specialist with over a decade of experience in watershed assessment, stream restoration, ecological monitoring, and environmental permitting. She leads and supports projects across the Upper Midwest, including stream and wetland mitigation, dam and culvert removals, and watershed-scale planning efforts that promote ecological function and climate resilience.

Her work integrates geomorphic, hydrologic, and ecological data to support infrastructure and habitat restoration design. She regularly manages permitting across multiple jurisdictions — including Joint Permit Applications (JPA) through the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) in Michigan, Section 401/404 Clean Water Act permits, and Environmental Assessment Worksheets (EAWs) in Minnesota. Rebecca applies tools such as ArcGIS Online, Civil3D, and the Stream Quantification Tool (SQT) to support spatial analysis, design, and regulatory compliance.

Rebecca brings a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to each project, working closely with agency staff, local governments, Tribes, and private landowners. Whether coordinating baseline data collection for an EIS or co-developing long-term restoration strategies, she is committed to technically sound, community-centered land and water management throughout the Great Lakes region.
