Reza E. Taleghani, PE, MS, QSD/QSP

Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, Reza brings 27 years of experience as a senior civil engineer and project manager with the City of San Diego. His experience includes leading a team managing large capital improvement projects including water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, roadways, parks, skate parks, and right of way improvements. Reza also led a capital improvement program called Reimbursement Agreements for Public Facilities Financing Plans, where he oversaw the design and construction of major projects by developers and secured funds to reimburse them.

During his career, Reza has had the opportunity to work with different municipalities and environmental agencies to complete complex projects. He managed and coordinated various activities with different departments including planning, design, permitting, construction, tracking, and notice of completion.

Reza is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California. He has won a few awards for his projects, including APWA & ASCE Project of the Year award for the 2008 Torrey Pines Golf Course for the U.S. Open, the 2011 Team of the Year Award, and the 2013 APWA Project of the Year Award for Via Esprillo Slope Repair.
