Scott M. Keating
Vice President and South Region Operations ManagerScott Keating has spent his entire 36-year professional career in the environmental consulting field. He is a Vice President, Principal and currently serves as GEI’s South Region Operations Manager, as well as a senior consultant in GEI’s Atlanta, GA office. Throughout his career, Scott has maintained an external focus on client account management and technical project work. He maintains a lead account management role with utility and manufacturing clients.
Scott specializes in remedial investigations/feasibility studies, site characterization and design and implementation of corrective actions for hazardous and non-hazardous waste sites, manufactured gas plant site management, and freight railroad site management. Scott is also proficient at managing and developing site and remedial strategies for large, multi-million dollar sites for industrial clients. He has managed numerous complex remedial projects with values of between 5 and 20 million dollars. As such, he is experienced in project control methodologies and in leading large project teams that often involve multiple potentially responsible parties.
Scott has a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Environmental Science from East Stroudsburg University.
