GEI’s Helen Robinson Name an ENR Top 20 Under 40

August 23, 2019

GEI’s Helen Robinson was recently named an Engineering News Record (ENR) Top 20 Under 40 for 2019, based on her extensive career experience in the construction industry. Helen was selected by a panel of industry judges based on her industry experience to know what works and what doesn’t—and the idealism and energy to create change and make it stick.

The 20 individuals selected demonstrate dedication to problem-solving, talent in the construction industry, drive to tackle challenges, and the desire to mentor the younger generation.

Helen talks about inspiring the next generation to pursue careers within the construction industry stating “entering a classroom of very young students “in heels, you create a perception, so that image is in their mind and they know industry careers for women are an option…that’s powerful.”

She also discussed partnership with ENR. Helen noting “understanding people’s personalities and traits can help you lead them.”

Helen is a Senior Engineer and Branch Manager is GEI’s Exton, PA office. She has over 16 years of design and construction experience across the U.S. and provides engineering services and project management for geostructural designs.
