Carlos M. Englert, P.E. Joins GEI

Washington, DC – GEI Consultants Inc., one of the nation’s leading technical consulting services firms is pleased to announce Carlos M. Englert, P.E. has joined GEI’s Washington, DC office as a Senior Geostructural Engineer.

Mr. Carlos Englert has field and design experience in a variety of projects throughout the United States, Canada, and Venezuela. His experience includes geotechnical and structural design, as well as construction monitoring services. Mr. Englert’s projects have included design of earth retaining and tieback structures, wind turbines involving shallow and deep foundations, design for retrofitting and underpinning, and design of foundation systems for high-rise, retail, and heavy industry. He also has experience in ground improvement using diverse technologies, such as cement-based grouts, stone columns, soil mixing, and dynamic compaction.

Mr. Englert earned an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
