David H. Russian Joins GEI

Chicago, IL – GEI Consultants Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources and ecological science and engineering firms, announced today that David H. Russian, P.E. has joined the firm as a Senior Environmental Consultant.

David brings 27 years of engineering consulting experience to GEI.  He is client-focused and delivers innovative solutions for environmental and remediation practice challenges, driving results, and building client loyalty.  He is well versed in waste characterization and disposal, brownfield remediation & risk-based closure, environmental due diligence and permitting, regulatory liaison and negotiation, client and portfolio management, sustainable solutions, and compliance management.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, a Master of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Science Certificate in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.  He also holds a Commercial Real Estate Development Graduate Certificate concentration in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Business.

He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and Indiana, a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Professional, and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
