GEI Announces New Board of Directors

GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation’s leading technical consulting services firms is pleased to announce the firm has named five members to the Board of Directors.

GEI recently re-elected Scott Keating and Graham Bradner and elected Robert Acker, James Nickerson, and Anne Ellis to the Board of Directors. Scott is a Vice President and currently serves as GEI’s South Region Operations Manager, as well as a senior consultant in GEI’s Atlanta, GA office. Scott is serving his second two-year term on the Board. Graham Bradner, P.G., C.E.G., C.HG., P.M.P. is a Vice President and Senior Project Manager in GEI’s Sacramento, CA office and is serving his second term on the Board. Robert Acker, P.E., LEED AP was elected to serve his first term on the Board. Robert is a Senior Consultant, Senior Vice President, and Branch Manager in GEI’s Chicago office. James Nickerson, P.E. is a Vice President and Branch Manager in GEI’s Boston office. He was elected to serve his first term on the Board.

Anne M. Ellis, P.E., FACI, F.ASCE, NAC was elected as the non-GEI employee outside board member. Anne is CEO of Ellis Global, an innovation and technology consulting firm specializing in the engineering and construction industry, and executive director of the Charles Pankow Foundation, investing in better ways to design and build. Anne served by the appointment of five different U.S. cabinet secretaries to their federal advisory committees on matters of energy, environment and trade policy. She serves on numerous boards and councils including the National Institute of Building Science Board, the Building Seismic Safety Council Board, and the American Society of Civil Engineers Industry Leaders Council. A long-time member of the American Concrete Institute, Anne served as president (2013-2014) and for her leadership impact was named Most Influential People in Concrete Construction – 2013 by “Concrete Construction” magazine.
