GEI Consultants Announces the Hiring of Five Senior Staff

Boston, Mass. – May 4, 2017 – GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms, announced today the hiring of five senior staff.

Jerry Krueger, P.E., Senior Project Engineer in GEI’s Madison, WI office. Jerry has over 24 years of geo-engineering experience, specializing in dams and embankments, institutional building foundations, transportation, and site development. He has a broad range of project component experience in alternatives analyses, subsurface explorations, contract administration, quality control and safety, cost estimating, and constructability.

Jonathan “Joe” Perse, P.G., LSRP, Senior Environmental Consultant in GEI’s Exton, PA office. Jonathan has more than 16 years of environmental consulting experience, specializing in various industrial, chemical, legal, insurance, transportation, developer, and petroleum clients. He has also provided litigation support and expert witness services for various matters in NJ and PA. Jonathan’s expertise includes the investigation and closure of complex environmental sites.

Karen Ford, P.E., Senior Professional in GEI’s Atlanta, GA office. Karen is a registered professional engineer with more than 34 years of experience in water resources with the energy section. She specializes in numerical modeling, hydraulics, hydrology, risk assessments, nuclear licensing site drainage assessments, and river and reservoir operations. She has served as the technical lead for a wide range of projects related to hydraulic analysis, surface water modeling, dam safety, with emphasis in assessing flooding impacts.

Neil Carney, P.E., Senior Professional in GEI’s Madison, WI office. Neil has more than 16 years of environmental engineering experience, specializing in project and technical management for both solid waste engineering and environmental projects. He has worked in both the United States and England as a Senior Engineer for federal, state, and municipal clients.

Scott Aharonian, REPA., Senior Professional in GEI’s Exton, PA office. Scott has more than 25 years of environmental experience, specializing in project management, environmental construction management, site assessments, remediation, health and safety supervision, and waste management.
