GEI names Six Members and Chairman to the Board of Directors

Boston, MA (July 23, 2021) – GEI Consultants, one of the nation’s leading technical consulting services firms, has named six members and Chairman to the Board of Directors.

GEI re-elected Michael Yako and elected Cindy Davis, Daphne King, Ben Sawa, and Peter Ventin to the Board.

Richard J. Anderson was named Chairman of the Board. Richard has been a member of GEI’s board since 2017 and he is currently the Chair of Audit and Finance Committee.

Richard says “I am honored to be named Chairman of the Board, I believe that GEI will continue to grow and thrive with the vision and leadership of the board, and support from GEI staff,” says Richard.

Michael Yako, P.E. is a Vice President and Principal in GEI’s Boston office. He specializes in geotechnical engineering for highways and bridges, rail and transit, aviation, building, site development, utility, waterfront, and port projects.

Cindy Davis is a Senior Regulatory Specialist and Senior Project Manager with more than 21 years of experience leading natural resources projects in GEI’s Sacramento, CA office.

Daphne King, P.E., is a Business Development Director with more than 16 years of experience a design engineer and project manager for public and private infrastructure and maintenance projects in GEI’s Dallas, TX office.

Ben Sawa is a Vice President and Director of Marketing in GEI’s Boston office. Ben develops and supports GEI’s long-term growth strategies and manages the marketing activities throughout the enterprise.

Peter Ventin, P.Eng., is a Vice President at GEI in Ontario, Canada. Peter manages GEI’s operations and strategic growth throughout Canada.
