GEI’s Paul Landers Promoted to Washington, DC Branch Manager

Washington, D.C. – April 6, 2017 – GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation’s leading  geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms, announced Paul Landers, P.E. has been promoted to Washington, DC Branch Manager.

Since joining GEI in 2015, Paul has been an integral member of the geostructural practice and has led multiple strategic pursuits. He is a seller-doer who has developed managerial and operation skills, and continuously seeks out new opportunities for GEI.

Over the course of Paul’s 19-year career, he has served in numerous management roles and has led large groups of designers and design teams on complicated projects, managing all aspects of projects. In addition, Paul has mentored staff and developed strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and field crews.

Paul’s technical expertise as a geotechnical engineer is focused on the design and construction of projects in the water and wastewater treatment, transportation, environmental, commercial, and military markets. As the Senior Project Manager on the design work for the Wharf Phase 2 project in Washington DC, Paul, through an innovative investigation approach, has already reduced foundation costs by several millions of dollars. Paul has been successful in building working relationships built on trust and honesty by providing clients quality work and timely project delivery.

Paul has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. He is also an active member of the Deep Foundations Institute.
