Wildfire mitigation leader Hannah Resnick joins GEI

Resnick combines wildfire risk analysis with strategic planning

BOSTON, Massachusetts, May 18, 2026 Hannah Resnick has joined GEI as Practice Leader for Wildfire Mitigation. Hannah’s expertise includes wildfire risk modeling, risk quantification, and mitigation strategy development for utilities and public agencies. She has helped clients integrate wildfire risk into long-term planning, operational decision-making, and resilience investments.

“We are thrilled to have Hannah lead GEI’s Wildfire Mitigation Practice, where she will focus on helping our clients and communities better prepare for and reduce wildfire risk,” says Ben Sawa, Chief Development Officer at GEI. “Hannah will support GEI’s energy and public sector clients across North America by advancing integrated planning, mitigation, resiliency, and risk reduction strategies related to wildfire exposure and climate-driven threats.”

Hannah brings experience advising organizations on complex climate and infrastructure challenges through a combination of technical analysis, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Hannah holds a Master of Business Administration from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University.
