Remediation expert Jeshua Hansen joins GEI

Hansen integrates technical and regulatory skills into problem solving.

PLYMOUTH, Michigan, Nov. 20, 2025 – Jeshua Hansen, P.E., has joined GEI Consultants as Senior Environmental Engineer. With more than 20 years of consulting engineering experience, Jeshua specializes in remedial investigations and designs, feasibility studies, construction oversight, remediation system operations and maintenance, and sediment remediation.

“Jeshua brings decades of problem-solving experience, and he has developed and inspired technical teams collaborating on robust projects throughout the United States,” says Bradley Parlato, P.E., Senior Vice President and Central Operations Manager at GEI. “Jeshua deeply understands the technical and regulatory challenges that complicate sediment projects, and he can help our clients navigate through those challenges.”

In addition to providing design and construction management services for a wide variety of remediation projects, Jeshua also is experienced with preparing pre-design investigation work plans and investigation reports, remedial designs, remedial action work plans, and remedial action reports for complex CERCLA/Superfund Sites. This includes a Time Critical Removal Action to remediate contaminated soils and sediment in the Kalamazoo River Watershed.

Jeshua received his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Wayne State University and his Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
