John Jolly Joins GEI

 Atlanta, GA – GEI Consultants Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources and ecological science and engineering firms, announced today that John D. Jolly, P.G. recently joined the firm as a Senior Professional.

John has 25 years of experience providing project management services to National Accounts in the Utility, Transportation, and Manufacturing market sectors. He has served as a Project Manager on large-scale environmental investigation and remediation projects as well as due diligence portfolios. He is well versed in technical leadership, closure strategy, regulatory policy, litigation support, personnel management, and budget development and tracking.

John’s area of technical expertise includes coal tar/creosote assessment and remediation, hydrogeologic investigations and remediation as well as due diligence, underground storage tank investigations, management of multi-discipline NEPA projects, and geologic evaluations on various projects. John’s site assessment and remediation experience has encompassed a wide range of property types including industrial, commercial, residential, government, agricultural, and telecommunication-tower sites.

John earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University Alabama at Birmingham. He is a Licensed Professional Geologist in Georgia and Arkansas. John has served as Chair of the Georgia Industry Environmental Coalition HSRA/RCRA Workgroup, a Board Member of the Georgia Brownfield Association, and a member of the Economic Development Committee in the American Railway Development Association.
