Kim Gilder joins GEI in Ontario as Senior Hydrogeologist

Groundwater expert brings experience on large-scale infrastructure and transit projects

Markham, Ontario (Sept. 18, 2023) – Kim Gilder, P. Geo., has joined GEI Consultants as a Senior Hydrogeologist. With more than 20 years of experience, Kim has performed water resources services, including water supply investigations, large-scale monitoring programs, site investigations, pipeline infrastructure, nuclear, and rail and road projects.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kim to the GEI family. Her depth of knowledge and two decades of hands-on experience in diverse projects makes her an invaluable addition to our team,” says Alexander Winkelmann, P.Eng., GEI’s Geotechnical and Earth Sciences Manager. “Our clients will undoubtedly benefit from the breadth of expertise she brings to the table.”

Kim also has experience in project management, database creation and management, field data collection, data analysis, and hydrogeological peer reviews.

Kim is a member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists, and she serves as the Education and Electronic Communication Chair of Alpaca, Ontario. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of Toronto.
