Senior Remediation Engineer Lydia Ross joins GEI in Raleigh

Raleigh, NC (Feb. 5, 2024) – Senior Remediation Engineer Lydia Ross, P.E., has joined GEI Consultants. Lydia brings more than 16 years of diverse environmental engineering experience including consulting, technology supply, and non-profit leadership.

“Lydia combines remarkable people skills with a proven technical background,” says Amber Ahles, PMP, Vice President and Raleigh Branch Manager at GEI. “Lydia will enable our project teams to function at a higher level by actively listening and seeking to understand different viewpoints to achieve project goals, and ensure positive results for all.”

Lydia specializes in soil and groundwater remediation design and implementation, with a focus on petroleum hydrocarbon remediation. Lydia combines technical expertise, intuition, and a genuine affinity for interpersonal relationships to orchestrate mutually beneficial outcomes for multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.

Lydia holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. She serves as President of the Groundwater Professionals of North Carolina and volunteers with Comfort Zone Camp as a North Carolina Regional Advisory Council Member and children’s grief camp counselor.
