GEI Canada celebrates new office opening in Barrie

Professional service firm continues rapid expansion across Ontario

BARRIE, ON (January 19, 2023) – GEI Canada is celebrating the firm’s continuing expansion across the province of Ontario with the grand opening of its second Barrie office.

“This new office location is a sign of our growth and market expansion to expand our services offerings in the central Ontario market,” says Peter Ventin, GEI’s Vice President for the Canada region. “We’re expanding our footprint and our team to service the Barrie, Orillia, and Collingwood markets.”

The new office is located at: 411 Huronia Rd, Unit 5, Barrie, ON L4N 9B3

GEI keeps its existing Barrie location, which will now become the exclusive home of the firm’s material testing team. The new location will be home to GEI’s experts in Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, Natural Heritage, and Ecological Restoration.

“Now, with two locations in Barrie, our resident team of nearly 40 professionals will support clients as far north as Sudbury,” says Peter.

To date, GEI has four locations across Ontario, while its hybrid work model enables GEI Canada’s more than 120 team members to collaborate and serve clients throughout the province and beyond.
