Asset Management Leader Ryen Tarbet Joins GEI

TORONTO, Canada, Jan. 24, 2025 – Ryen Tarbet has joined GEI Consultants as Senior Asset Management Consultant. As a leader and educator, Ryen brings more than 24 years of experience in the field of asset management.

Ryen is an expert in U.S., Canadian, and international financial accounting for asset management. He specializes in infrastructure lifecycle financial modeling and integrating BIM into asset management frameworks. Ryen has served as the principal asset management advisor for a diverse range of organizations, including governmental entities across water, sewer, transportation, rail, city/county, state, federal, port and marine sectors, as well as telecommunication and private organizations.

Ryen is the former Chair and Head of the U.S. delegation to the International Standards Organization (ISO) Technical Committee 251 (TC 251), which oversees the development of the international asset management standard, ISO 55001. In this role, Ryen represented U.S. interests at TC 251 international meetings and was a major author and founding member of Technical Committee 5, which developed ISO 55010 – Guidance on Alignment of Financial and Non-Financial Functions in Asset Management.
