Sharon McSwieney Joins GEI Consultants

GEI Consultants Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources and ecological science and engineering firms, is pleased to announce that Sharon McSwieney, LSRP, has recently joined the firm as a Senior Consultant and is working in GEI’s Bloomfield, New Jersey office.

Ms. McSwieney is an Environmental Engineer and Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP), with 30 years of experience.  She specializes in environmental site assessment, investigation, and remedial action for Brownfield Redevelopment properties.  Ms. McSwieney has significant experience with large-scale Brownfield remediation in New Jersey and New York including landfill redevelopment projects. She has extensive experience working with environmental attorneys and real estate professionals to find creative and cost-effective solutions to environmental issues that may be hindering a transaction or redevelopment opportunity. Her client base ranges from large industrial companies to redevelopers and municipalities.

Ms. McSwieney earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Rutgers College and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
