Thomas Turpin Joins GEI

Mt. Laurel, NJ – GEI Consultants Inc., one of the nation’s leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources and ecological science and engineering firms, is pleased to announce that Thomas Turpin, CPEA recently joined the firm as a Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Management Practice Leader.

Thomas has more than 25 years of providing consistent collaborative, results-driven EHS leadership to large industrial, chemical manufacturing, and utility operations. He is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards to include, but not be limited to, construction safety, environmental, chemical control, industrial hygiene, general safety, and company EHS standards. Thomas is also experienced with planning, preparing, and implementing EHS training and employee educational programs, EHS assessments and audits, emergency planning and response, and health exposure-related risk assessments. He is skilled at creating a culture that positively engages individuals in the EHS process as well as evaluating if the intended outcome of the company’s objectives and programs are realized.

Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muhlenburg College in Allentown, PA. He is a Certified Professional Environmental/Safety Auditor (CPEA) and Accredited ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.
