James Halverson

James is an experienced engineer and project/construction manager with experience across multiple industries including tunnel and trenchless engineering and construction, seismic exploration, geotechnical engineering, electrical construction, and mining geology.

James has worked on a variety of different projects in Colorado and beyond. His capacities have ranged from staff engineer to project/operations manager to his role now as the Construction Management Lead for the Tunneling and Trenchless Group (TTG). His focus is the development of the Tunneling and Trenchless Construction Management practice within GEI’s Construction Services group.

James bring expertise in a variety of construction methods and industries, and he brings this experience to the table in every aspect of his work: from pre-proposal strategies to complete design packages and construction cost estimating, to contractor support on pre-bids and submittal preparation. Additionally, his attention to detail and thoroughness makes him adept at claims support, document management, pay applications, scheduling and coordination, and interpersonal communication.
