Michael Papadacos, P.Eng.

Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure Planning

Mike is a Senior Project Manager in Infrastructure Planning in Canada, helping clients maximize the value of their capital investments. With decades of public- and private-sector leadership experience, he thrives at the intersection of land use, infrastructure, asset management, municipal finance, and climate change.

In his recent roles as Director of Asset Management and Capital Planning and Commissioner of Infrastructure, Planning and Growth Management for the City of Peterborough, Mike led programs that improved how the municipality assessed infrastructure ROI, addressed funding gaps, and managed climate-related risks. He oversaw capital planning, master plans (sanitary servicing, flood reduction, inflow & infiltration), asset management strategies, integrated flood models, and climate action plans.

A strong advocate for evidence-based decision-making, Mike pushes beyond the status quo to advance resilient, prosperous, and equitable communities. He has co-authored papers and presented to organizations including the Water Environment Association of Ontario, Water Environment Federation, Ontario Good Roads, and the Ontario Waste Management Association.
