Digital innovator Eric Nemeth joins GEI

Nemeth combines project expertise with digital transformation leadership

SACRAMENTO, California, February 12, 2026 – Eric Nemeth has joined GEI Consultants as a Senior Project Manager. He brings more than 25 years of experience integrating innovative solutions and digital technology into a multitude of award-winning projects and programs for federal, state, local, international, and tribal clients.

“Eric is a true seller-doer with deep client development experience,” says Donghai Wang, Senior Vice President and Principal Engineer at GEI. “He brings leadership in complex, multidisciplinary water and hazard-mitigation programs as well as digital transformation expertise that complements and extends GEI’s capabilities.”

Eric enjoys managing multi-disciplinary teams, mentoring staff, and fostering strong client relationships to drive practice growth, technical excellence, and operational efficiency. He is known for applying rigorous quality assurance processes and promoting best practices to achieve consistent client satisfaction.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics-Computer Science with a minor in Geology and Mathematics from the University of Montana. He has been recognized with four American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Engineering Excellence Awards, an Esri Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award, and several other national and regional awards for innovation and excellence.
