Andreas Christmann

Senior Software Engineer

Andreas Christmann is a Senior Software Engineer with more than 30 years of experience developing large-scale engineering and scientific software systems. He specializes in the design and implementation of complex modeling, data management, and visualization tools supporting water resources planning, ecosystem analysis, and real-time operations.

Prior to joining GEI, Andreas worked at Resource Management Associates, where he served as Lead Developer for several U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hydrologic Engineering Center applications, including the Ecosystem Functions Model Simulation (HEC-EFMSim) and Regime Prescription Tool (HEC-RPT). His work has included development of data storage architectures, rule-based modeling interfaces, sensitivity analysis tools, and advanced visualization capabilities. He has also played a key role in enhancing Corps Water Management System platforms, including CWMS, CWMSVue, DSSVue, and CAVI, with contributions spanning user interface design, data integration, and system maintenance.

Andreas brings deep expertise across multiple operating systems, programming languages, and database technologies, supporting reliable delivery of mission-critical software for federal water agencies.
