Jim Cloonan, P.E.

Jim Cloonan has more than 30 years of technical leadership and client relationships, supporting the aerospace, automotive, chemical, industrial, commercial, and mining industries.  During his career, he has served as the Southeast business manager, regional technical and innovation leader, and engineer of record for permitting, design, and construction projects. Areas of expertise include: developing and supporting key client accounts; developing and implementing strategic growth plans; cross-selling services based on client needs; remediation design and construction management; and client focused training

At GEI, his primary focus will be to help grow the firm’s industrial and mining businesses. He is a registered chemical engineer with a BS in Chemical Engineering from RPI, an ME in Environmental Systems Engineering from Clemson University, and an MBA from Clemson University.

Jim is based in Charleston, SC.
