John Onderdonk, P.E., BC.WRE

John Onderdonk has more than 45 years of experience in water resources engineering with an emphasis in dam safety engineering. Mr. Onderdonk has expertise in dam safety with a specific focus on hydrology, hydraulic engineering, consequence assessment, and planning aspects of dam safety studies. Additional experience includes providing technical guidance and mentoring, inspections of dams and construction projects, and quality assurance/quality control review. Prior to joining GEI, Mr. Onderdonk held numerous engineering and management level positions during his career at HDR Engineering, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
